Online conference registration

At least one author per paper or abstract must register by 28 February 2012.

1) One copy of the proceedings in electronic format (delivered on site) is included in the conference registration fee.

2) No hard copy of the proceedings will be produced. Proceedings will be in electronic format only.

3) Registration does not include the tutorials.

4) Registration does include the Welcome Reception.

5) Registration does not include the banquet.

6) You must be an IEEE, EMBS or SPS Member at the time of registration to receive the respective member discount. To join IEEE, EMBS or SPS please visit ieee.org/join.

7) The single day registration does not include the Welcome Reception.

8) Attendance to ISBI Challenges only requires at least a single-day registration to ISBI 2012.

9) The banquet cost includes bus transportation to/from, entrance fee, guided tour and dinner in Poble Espanyol

For Papers: Each accepted paper must have at least one paid registration at a non-student rate. The registration deadline for authors is 28 February 2012. Papers which are not registered by the author registration deadline will be removed from the proceedings of the conference. One full registration can cover up to a combination of four papers and abstracts.

For Abstracts*: Each abstract must have at least one paid registration at either a student rate or the Abstract Only rate. The registration deadline for authors is 28 February 2012. Abstracts without a registration by the deadline will not be included in the program. One registration can cover up to four abstracts. 

One of the authors (or a qualified substitute) must present the paper or abstract at the conference.  Please note that papers which are not presented in person at the conference will not be included in the proceedings published on IEEE Xplore ®.

General Attendees

Refund request should be made to Conference Management Services, Inc. at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Cancellations will be subject to a US$50 cancellation fee before 31 March 2012. NO REFUNDS will be made after 31 March 2012.

Author Refund

At least one author of the paper must be registered at a non-student rate in order to register the camera ready paper. If complete payment is not received by the author registration deadline, the paper will be pulled from the publication in ISBI 2012. Author registration is non-refundable.

Author No Shows

ISBI 2012 requires that each accepted paper be presented by one of the authors in-person at the conference site according to the schedule published. Any paper accepted into the technical program, but not presented on-site will be withdrawn from the proceedings published on IEEE Xplore ®.

(no phone calls will be accepted) Please allow four to six weeks after the conference for the refund to be provided if you are eligible for a refund.
